Barbara and Julian treated me like family, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My Queen Room with Pool View was spotless, featuring a lovely terrace perfect for morning coffee. The breakfast spread was delightful, with fresh pastries and the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. I appreciated the personal touches, including friendly chats with staff like Barbara. However, the room could have benefited from a magnifying mirror in the bathroom and better air conditioning. it was a bit warm at times. Despite some minor inconveniences, Villa La Preziosa is a tranquil retreat that made my time in Lucca memorable. I'm eager to return soon!

Consider arranging a taxi in advance for easier access to town, as local cabs can be hard to come by.

such a lovely place, but it could of been cooler in my room. no magnifying mirror? really? breakfast was mediocre, nothing special, considering the price. i expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but alas, i guess being a truly special guest doesn't mean much. i almost gave this a good review, but just couldn’t.

The hotel is perfectly located near Lucca's historic city walls.

I found the signage to the Villa frustratingly inadequate, making it a challenge to find even after getting close. The narrow, winding road made it difficult to stop, and although the parking is ample inside the gates, I felt stressed just trying to navigate to the entrance. Additionally, I was disappointed with the lack of amenities in the bathroom—no magnifying mirror and insufficient places to put toiletries really detracted from what should have been a seamless experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming spot with our four teenagers! The location was perfect for cycling, and we loved exploring the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The staff, especially Julian and Barbara, made us feel like family, providing great tips for our adventures.

Definitely make sure to rent bikes to explore the area—it’s a fun way to see more of the beautiful surroundings! 🍹
